Vijay starrer Jilla is set with Madurai as the backdrop. The director is currently shooting some important scenes at a studio in Chennai where typical Madurai style houses are erected. In fact, the house which Vijay will dwell in the film is set with the Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple as the backdrop and this set has come out awesomely, say sources close to the unit.
Mohanlal plays a very significant role in this film and it has Kajal Agarwal playing Vijay’s lead girl. Nesan will be making his debut as the director with Jila.
