Samantha sidelines Kajal and Amala Paul

Samantha is currently playing Naga Chaitanya’s lead girl in the Telugu flick Manam. Interestingly, this film will have the three generations of the Akkineni family – Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya – in the lead roles.

There was a stiff competition among the leading heroines in Tollywood; particularly among Samantha, Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul to play Naga Chaitanya’s heroine in this flick.

However, Samantha had emerged victorious as she was Naga Chaitanya’s choice. The young star is reported to have told that she has impressed him with her performance in several films
